Why custom tailored vs off-the-rack?
Custom allows you the flexibility to ensure the garment suits your style, and made-to-measure ensures it will perfectly suit your body.
How are your garments made?
We at Impostor, hold the highest respect for the craftsmanship involved in tailoring. Once your garment is detailed to your specifications it will be hand-cut to your exact measurements by one of our expert cutters. It is then sewn into the final piece, with final touches added. Finally, it goes through a quality control check with our team.
Where are your garments made?
We have partnered with a supplier in Vietnam which has decades of experience in crafting women’s suits and garments. After researching and traveling to numerous facilities, we selected our partner based on their commitment to quality and ethical production.
How should I care for my Impostor garments?
All of our garments are made with natural fiber materials, which last longer but require a more delicate touch. An eco-friendly dry cleaner or hand-washing with mild detergent is recommended for all our pieces.
Do you offer discounts for businesses?
Are you looking to outfit your office in the best of the best? We are always happy to discuss corporate deals; including sending a stylist to take the measurements, unique corporate embroidery, and bulk discounts.
Is shipping free or included with my order?
Shipping is FREE on all orders over $250. With all orders under $250 there is a flat $20 shipping fee. Please note, for international shipping, the customer is liable for any income duties or taxes.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will arrive in 3-5 weeks from the date your order was placed.
How do I get measured?

In the future we will be bringing travelling stylists and pop-up stores to a city near you!
Can I change my measurements after submitting my order?
We understand mistakes happen! Please contact us as soon as possible help@impostor.ca; within 24 hours the change will be easier, after 2-days it is likely the pattern will be created already.
What is your return policy?
Our pieces are made specifically to order, therefore we cannot offer 'conventional' returns. However, in the case that we make a mistake - we will cover the costs!
Each garment order does come with up to 15% of the full item cost in local tailoring credit, should your pieces require additional alterations.
